Raw gas is a natural combustible hydrocarbon gas with high content (over 15 per cent) of heavy hydrocarbons (C3H8 + higher). The gases classified as raw are associated gases of oil and gas condensate deposits (the so-called petroleum gases), well isolated from supergene processes. Raw gas undergoes dehydration, stripping and purification at gas treatment plants and gas processing plants in gas and oil fields.
