Gasholder is a stationary steel reservoir for injection, storage and withdrawal of gas into gas distribution networks and facilities for its processing and utilization. Gas holders are classified into variable volume (not used in Russia) and constant volume ones according to the operating principle; spherical and cylindrical – according to their form.
Gas holders application in gas distribution networks declines due to the use of underground gas storage facilities and liquefied natural gas storage facilities.
What are liquefied petroleum gases
Liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) are produced from associated petroleum gas. These are pure gases or special mixtures that can be used to heat buildings, to produce petrochemicals and as a motor fuel.
